Michael Kay

Michael Kay is widely known in the XML world as an expert on the XML processing languages XSLT and XQuery: he is the current holder of the XML Cup.

His reputation derives from his books "XSLT 2.0 Programmer's Reference" and its XPath 2.0 companion, from the Saxon XSLT and XQuery software, which he developed, and from his work within the W3C consortium. Michael runs his own company, Saxonica, which develops the Saxon technology and provides support and consultancy for XSLT and XQuery users.
